Looking for mirrors for your dance studio?
If you need a dance mirror installed, give us a call!
It’s important for dancers to be able to reflect on their techniques, to help them perfect their dance moves and phrases. Mirrors can help them:
- Get immediate feedback
- Be an effective teaching tool
- Evaluate the height, shape, and line of their movement
- Place themselves in formation when dancing in a group
- Show how they will be viewed by others
Best Locations for Dance Mirrors
Front and side walls are both good locations for dance and ballet mirrors. They can be mounted 16″-22″ from the floor and still allow dancers to see their feet and heads. If your studio is also used for yoga or Pilates, you will want to install floor to ceiling mirrors instead, since these activities are performed primarily on the floor.
